If he signs on for another four years that's going to be approx 20 to 25m in wages to be spent on him.

Is he worth it?

It all depends on what we're getting for him.

There are those on here that would say to just give him away today. No - we are in no position to do this.

Get 15 million for him? OK, now I can get on board with that.

But if we're getting next to nothing for him, just let his contract wind down. We need all the warm bodies in our midfield not named Andre Gomes or JPG for our relegation battle this season

Hang on, there's numerous reports that more than 1 club are looking to buy Iwobi for actual money? Pretty sure I was told earlier in the summer that nobody would pay anything for him.

These clubs need to read the scouting reports available on GOT before they part with their cash.

Changed that palace game when he came on, 2 nil down at half time, lost that pretty sure we would have no relegation from EPL last season as it would happened the season before. That alone was worth his fee for me.

Tbf I think he's probably a guesser for the most part but with Everton someone on the board could be making a deal our director of football knows nothing about and vice versa
