I weirdly watch football, not stats. It is nuts how many people don’t see the key moments Iwobi is involved in. They may only be fleeting, but they have been so important to us.
Stats dont paint a true picture.

I’m not his biggest fan but we stand more of a chance of staying up with him in the squad than out of the squad so I wouldn’t sell
I’d rather see him play for us with Beto and Danjuma in the team, than sell him.
Can’t see him staying now though, him refusing to sign a new deal has put too much pressure on us.
Our offer was also too late - it came at 18 months left on his contract and was poor management once again by the club.
Bizarre fans getting excited about selling him if we dont get anyone in to replace him. Open play chances- 57 while creating chances for Maupay.
Imagine having an actual striker to convert some of these chances.
Sometimes careful what you wish for.

We were in no position to hand out offers of increased contracts to players. It would have been fairly disastrous if we had gone down.I’d rather see him play for us with Beto and Danjuma in the team, than sell him.

So do I, and from watching him play football he frustrates more than he delivers - but he still delivers.I weirdly watch football, not stats.

In my view we should have offered it and had it agreed at the end of the previous season, when his form was key to keeping us up.Problem is tho should they have offered it earlier when we were close to relegation?
If its ANYWHERE NEAR 20M, like reported, then we have to say yes.
No, I would have offered it to him last summer. You’d have offered him a new contract on £100k a week when he was stinking Goodison Park out under Benitez?
Solly March absolutely walks into our side.Proper whos who of top class midfielders in that list.
Pascall Gross and Solly March.
No, I would have offered it to him last summer.
He was our third best player at the time behind Richarlison and Pickford.
Well thank god we didn’t because we’d now be stuck with Iwobi for another 4 years but on £100k a week after having a good 3 months.
