So what would you do? Fascinated to hear
I've said it about a million times now but I'd spend the money every summer on players that we can try to develop into a CL quality team. Ok maybe we get Allan and we are one player closer but are we going to get any more? Probably not, and we are left trying to develop while Allan's career starts to wain.

Mate, we need winners and fighters and experienced old heads. That’s what he is. Of course, every transfer is a risk, but we need a quick upturn now and Allan looks like he fits the bill as a player we are crying out for and with the mentality we crave. It’s a no brainier for me. Sick of buying young potential that gets us nowhere. Buy a couple of winners and watch them have an impact on the squads mentality.

I disagree.

Without going into any of the other parts because you're being a bit of a tit I'd like to just say that this doesn't matter and I hope people will stop saying it soon. You can sign good players you've never worked with (it is like 90% of transfers that work out, at least) and you can sign bad players who you have worked with (Alcaraz, Kone and Martina say hello).
He is been a bit of a tit.
Have a look in mirror mate .
90 per cent of your posts are arrogant and condescending..

I said exactly the opposite. Very few if any teams not challenging have ever done it. Most of the examples are like RVP or similar.
Fernandinho was 29
Matic to United 29
Shevchenko to Chelsea was 30
Fabregas to Chelsea 29
David Luiz to Chelsea was 29 mark 2

and that’s before taking into account inflation which has been massive the last few years.

No mate you read them that way and tell me it every freaking day so it'll probably have to be ignore.
Every day . No I don't.
And I aint the only one who thinks so .
Said before if you just phrased things better it wouldn't make you look like are talkin down to people.
Put me on ignore if you like. Won't stop you coming across as condescending though.

Ancelotti wants him, We're overpaying but okay that's Football, We get a good player to paper over the cracks for 1-3 seasons while we try to finally crawl out of the Koeman/Walsh death cave of destruction and hopefully get back on track to aim for Europe.
If we had one of the oldest squads in the league and spending 30 fat ones on Allan then I'd be worried but our average playing age was 26 which is very young in the PL so I'm not even fussed.

I'm not interested in my phrasing being changed. I say what I think, if you think I'm talking down to you that is on you. I'm more than interested in opposing views but I can't say I ever remember you defending one with more than one post before you go to exactly these types of replies. Anyway cheers.

All of those teams were within a player or two of winning the title which is exactly the point I'm making.
