Ancelotti last worked with Allan in December. It would be quite some decline if he was washed up less than a year later.
not on an Everton forum lol

If Allan is a slipped disk then Sigurdsson & Davies must be a spinal fracture
They are selling him while they can still get a good amount of money for him but that doesn't mean he won't do a good job.
Another €2m for a top 10 finish?
Being that he is in he's 60's that is a bit obvious![]()
I fully understand both sides of the argument and with possible money problems it makes it that bit harder.
I know next to nothing about this bloke but forgetting the cost and he's age, if he's a round peg for a round hole then he has Gotta be worth the risk.
If it's true he has been offered a 5 year contract, no wonder he said Everton are the only team he wants to join.
You have to admit that it's very unusual to still be paying a 34 Year old a massive top wage.
Anyway, I think the 5 year contract offer is probably made up.
Yep, and Messi but these are two players who really are freaks of nature in the way they have been able to still play at the high standard in old age (football wise.)
If you think its normal to still be paying a player more than £100,000 for a player well past he's 34th birthday then fair enough![]()
Of course it's about money and there is no denying that a big wage 5 year contract for a player 30 next birthday is quite unusual.
Hello mate. Just wondering why a “Spurs fan” is so invested in an Everton signing his own club haven’t so much as been linked with?Do Carlo and Allen both have the same agent?

Spurs have already bought the player they wanted for this posistion. You may well have heard of him, we bought him from Southampton.

It matters not that he's only here to pat some heads tho.H.H always joins in with conversation and offers some actual conversation. Clearly just likes to talk football and football business. No harm that's he's a Spurs fan.
The opposite? Asking someone NOT to name players? Erm. Ok.The opposite is also a terrible argument against signing a handful of more experienced players to mix with an already young squad.
Some award that with Davek and others on here.
Napoli signed a 24 year old Allan for 7m and had 4 and a half really good seasons from him. He has now fallen out of favour been accused of walking in training yet we want to play £30m for him. Not only that but we want to give him a lengthy contract.
Haven't we learnt the lessons of the likes of Walcott.
Why aren't we looking to sign a 24 year old top class talent who we can sign for a reasonable fee and then sell on at a profit. We are the gift that keeps on giving.
Signing players approaching their 30's who have never played in the Premier League is a mugs game. If it goes badly we are left with another player on a long term contract that we cannot shift.
Could probably get into our midfield tooH.H always joins in with conversation and offers some actual conversation. Clearly just likes to talk football and football business. No harm that's he's a Spurs fan.
