Yeah but they also had a 35 year old Milner running harder than either of them. I’m not sure Liverpool players and their magic drinks are the benchmark to compare normal players against.

That being said for me it’s all about hunger not age. If Allan wants to play for us and win for us then he’ll be infinitely better than some 22 year old player who was forced to come to Everton by his agent and sees us as a stepping stone.
