As much as I want James and think Doucoure would be very good in our midfield, Allan is the most important of all 3. He does 3 crucial things that we don’t really do. 1) break up the play. 2) pass forward. 3) break the lines. The latter, none of our mids bar Gordon did last year, it makes a huge difference. Easy to see why he wants Doucoure too.
