Injured his back being stuck on the bench for 85mins each week I think. What happen to Garner?
Onana will be out of our league very soon. His potential is far better than ours. I expect him to go to a champions league club within the next 2 years.
It’s a much better model than buying older players on high salaries that aren’t good enough, don’t get played, then run their contracts down and leave on a free. For us at the moment its a good model to use. As much as i'd like to keep our best players and push on its unrealistic. These young lads with this much potential see us as a stepping stone to further their career. If he does the business, gets his head down, pushes us on and move for big money then unfortunately so be it.
He's got a long way to go though.
Nah, he looks like a player still finding his feet. We’re entitled to be pleased when he performs the way we think he can.One decent performance in about 10 games and he’s back to being a future elite superstar
Football fans lol
Nice one coachLooks half decent, I just wish he'd speed things up abit, do things quicker and he'll look alot better
I agree on garner. I just have a feeling he’s going to become a favourite at our club.I think Garner will be a hit for us. Two young players in Garner & Onana yet to reach potential bodes well for us in the future but the present is of more concern.
Onana I feel is going to be a great.....not sure if that will be with us. We will continue to lose our better players if we cannot turn our form around

I think the treatment of Gordon has become more than a little bit uncomfortableI always find how we compare players of the same age funny.
The majority on here would be for a public stoneing of Anthony Gordon, while James Garner is one for the future and needs time to reach his potential and to develop, few weeks between the two in age. Onana himself is the same age again needs time to develop and reach his potential.
The level of logic of patience applied to each is telling…..
