I seen it mate most tackles are recovery tackles and he’s very good at I said the other week that’s the one thing I think of when I see his name mentioned but that’s it got so much more to add to his game if he’s this £100m player you speak of in 2 seasons he’s not even close to that now and talk of anything more than £60m is ridiculous or just shows how stupid the transfer market has become.

Certainly hope we dont get the rumoured £70mil+ bids as I want to see him alongside Garner next season and beyond.

Finally started to play with those two together today

We need bids like that to survive as a club. We absolutely have to buy and sell for profit in order to grow the club. There is no other choice as our revenue streams are too small otherwise.

I'd be amazed if a 70m bid came in though.

We have a new stadium in 2024.

To hold onto and keep the likes of Onana and Branthwaite really gives the 11 some structure and longevity in the spine.

Branthwaite + Tarkowski
Onana + Garner

Very good platform to build on in the central area.

£70m plus and we need to be considering that kind of money for him as we need a whole new squad and that kind of money could possibly fill 3 places or even get richarlison back

I doubt Richarlison will come
Back, With a new manager and Kane going he will stay at spurs next season.

We're not a club who can afford to turn down 70m bids. We have a desperate need to fix a lot of problem areas and minimal cash without sales. We lost ~40m last year even after the Richarlison sale.

probably not will feel like he has a point to prove at Spurs and it’s all dependent on where we finish but was just making a point of what I’d rather do with £70m than keep onana.

Him, Garner and Iwobi were passing the ball to each other quite well in the second half. I thought this had been banned from the game given how long it is since I’ve seen any of our central midfielders do this.

Let’s see if actual bids come in, people need to realise he’s 21, started 11 games in the French league last season and now plying for one of the worse teams in the toughest league.

Maybe if he was homegrown and went on a skateboard he’d get another 4yrs and a 100 more games to prove himself

Dont get me wrong, I think the board would take £70mil and I see why it could be a sensible move.

However, with a new stadium a year away, 18+ players out of contract over the next two summers, other players to move on and the team needing to have continuity and a long term 'vision' -- I wouldnt sell.

Pickford
Patterson Tarkowski Branthwaite ??
Garner Onana
??? ??? McNeil
???
We're only FOUR players away from having a good team. Even then, I'd stick with Myko and Doucoure next season and focus on a right winger and a centre forward.

Our issues have stemmed from having no centre forward, no goal threat from the right and a weak centre.

Bring back Branthwaite + keep Onana and we have two 6'5 young players who bring stability into the spine.

At some point Thelwell and the board have to just look at going for quality and keeping hold of it.

Selling top players each window is only going to cause more issues.

That’s all taken into account but at times still needs to do better and not go missing in games I get we’re crap doesn’t need to prove himself cause at the moment he looks like a £30m player but if these crazy prices mentioned on here are to be believed then yes he does need to prove himself oh wait he had a couple of good international games and got the armband my bad yes £100m for sure.

Can’t see Pickford staying or brainthwaite, still not sold on Patterson another season and think he could become a regular but not sure he’s quite ready but needs game time mykolenko no thanks don’t want him near the team, new stadium we can’t even afford to finish never mind buy players as well so only option is to sell and buy cheap but with our scouting that’s not very hopeful

Disagree with all of this...but id sell Pickford before Onana.

We need investment to finish the stadium, still not 100% on our ffp situation is there still a chance of potential points deduction/fine? If we stay up and want to even compete for anything whether that’s a cup or top half of the table we need a full squad overhaul, strikers very important as not being able to score has cost us massively and could do come the end of the season on potential goal difference or straight up relegation. whole defence needs sorting, need a wide right player then theirs our pathetic bench and at the same time trying to get anyone stupid enough to buy the crap we’ve got and need to get rid of.
