People forget how much of an adjustment the Prem demands. For a player at Haaland's level, that's one thing. If not, it often takes players the better part of a season to figure it out. Even at Grealish's level, going from the center of attention to a cog in a machine proved an even larger adjustment.
The goal this season was never higher than 16th, go next and solve some more problems this summer. We're a mess that will take time and good decisions to fix.

I’m not thick, he clearly will at some point become a very good player, and might be worth £50m to some teams. But not many. Definitely not a team like ours. His stature makes people talk about him dominating the midfield. He doesn’t play like a big player at all. Only thing his size does is make his first 2 strides painfully laboured.
Not in the right country for me. France maybe.
His awareness and tactical maturity is awful.
If he can’t make regular forward passes from midfield, there’s only 2 possibility, either he is lacking in vision and tactical awareness or simply passing the responsibility to someone else.

I seen it mate most tackles are recovery tackles and he’s very good at I said the other week that’s the one thing I think of when I see his name mentioned but that’s it got so much more to add to his game if he’s this £100m player you speak of in 2 seasons he’s not even close to that now and talk of anything more than £60m is ridiculous or just shows how stupid the transfer market has become.
