I think you need to go back and watch some of his performances again this season and also remember his age and experience.

He will be a top player and is already one of our best (although a low bar).
I’ve watched every game this season and seen him go missing in loads thing i remember most is his ability to pull a tackle from nowhere and his cheerleading ability as you say low bar so should of stood out head and shoulders above everyone but he hasn’t. No doubt he will improve and yes we may get a higher fee in a season or 2 but we can’t even afford to finish our stadium never mind a full rebuild of the squad so for me for £50m thank you goodbye.

Pickford is the only 1 we have.

Onana and Branflakes have talent, but are young, so it wont be a year or 2 till they shine, but they wont be doing it here.

Dom is very talented, but sadly made of balsa wood, the rest are dogmuck players and should retire ASAP.
Branflakes?

They have been linked with some big Euro names, we will see in the summer although I agree with @Goat in that he will end up staying here.
My cousin is "mates" with a mate of Pickfords, last thing he heard was he was VERY happy here, despite us being rubbish, hes settled in the area and the only club he "fancied" are United, but he probably wont push for a move if we went down.

Things change of course and if somebody offers him an attractive deal he will bounce.

He flies under the radar at Everton, now and again the press jump on him, but he would get far more focus at a "bigger" club.

Would be nice to think that. Pickford in the championship certainly makes us coming straight back up more likely. However for him to stay 1. He would have to take a massive wage cut. 2. We would likely have to sell him anyway to balance the books.

We could certainly afford a few "high" earners in the Championship, but yes, hes an asset that is worth money and the reality of relegation would no doubt change his views.

I mean he left Sunderland without a second thought after their relegation, so I dont see how Everton would be different.
