All players need to score goals at times, especially when you.play without a striker

This is insane logic. You'd basically be saying Makelele etc were bad players by this sort of metric.

Fwiw the lad has bags of potential, but I suspect he's ended up in the wrong club at the wrong time and we'll have to sell him on well before he realises most of it

No it's totally sound logic, he has hardly contributed this season, I don't doubt he has ability, put him in Uniteds squad and we will see a much better player. But for us, he hasn't really done much this season and if we make any profit on him we have to welcome it and wish him well.
