Problem for me is mate - Gordon isn't not picking a pass, but usually there's no actual option ahead of him - we don't have any movement or people running into space in the box whatsoever. Funny enough the person who does do they in the side is Gordon, but git no one who can pick him out when he does.

Chose to shoot, doesn't have anywhere near the power in his legs to beat a premier League keeper from there

After getting the ball from Patterson he should be firing this across the box to the blue shirt far left OR waiting for Patterson's run (which he made and pointed to where he wanted the ball btw) Gordon ignored it all and tried to beat the whole team and unleash a P roller effort

Yet another game with 0 goals 0 assists for him

He has a lot to learn about playing as a team imo

Seriously thou what was he thinking ?, by the look of it not great deal. quite unbelievable.

He was thinking 'oh god, this happened the last game and they scored, I need to stop it from happening again'. The guy was clearly nervous and thats totally understandable.

Well Mykolenko was getting forward every attack and gray wouldn't give him the ball, would you bother anymore either?

I’m not defending either him or Gray because I agree that they’re both quite selfish.

But in general those pictures highlight a bigger issue for me, and it’s the lack of people getting forward. This was an issue last year and it’s looking the same now

Totally agree mate, unfortunately we can't be spending massive money on a player who needs time.

I’m not disagreeing with your comment mate, but it’s funny that everyone is calling for us to find gems abroad instead of paying for players already in UK. Players from abroad generally need to time to get used to the pace here. There’s got to be a balance hasn’t there? I’m sure he’s going to be a great player given time. Perhaps we need to keep playing him further up with defensive cover behind him (Iwobi and IGG) which would allow him to make mistakes and get up to the pace.

Utter nonsense that evidence. In reality the shot was on in that first photo to take on early in the game. Of course you give the keeper a tester to deal with; and in the second photo Patterson may point for the ball to be played but he ran into an area patrolled by two Forest players and was in all likelihood trying to make the space for Gordon to run into...and the cross wasn't on for *Dixie* McNeil really was it?

Every player is a gamble. A lot of that fee is add-ons.

Would you rather the same fee on a "proven player" with no sell on value?? Because you'd probably be up in arms about that as well. The club can't win and the fact that we're even having thus conversation after he's played about 40 minutes of PL football is insane.

with all due respect, he has had - and this is putting it lightly - a chaotic opening sequence to his career here. people can be forgiven for being extremely wary on whats been shown by him so far.

That’s what my mate was saying yesterday. I was at that Stoke game and the usual bores were at it then too after seeing Fellani for two minutes (The Kendall Out Brigade I call them if they’re of a certain vintage). He looked nervous yesterday, was probably trying too hard and you could see Forest doubled Up on him instantly, which is sensible (young, foreign player, first game, close him down as soon as…makes sense).
