Too much expectation placed on this lad whose only 20 and barely started a dozen games last season. But are options in midfield are dire, I hope he isn’t rushed too much into the starting 11.

Everything is different, everything is faster, the calls/shouts from teammates are new. It takes time to process and get up to speed, especially for a young lad in a new country. Take a breath and relax. Onana is going to be brilliant for us

The problem is more all of us getting carried away with his performance last week because we're so starved of anything to shout about. I feel sorry for the lad. We need a superstar midfielder to come in and dominate games for us. From what we saw yesterday, he's definitely going to be a work in progress.

I can see why people are nervous. The position we are in means we need players to hit the ground running.

I'm convinced he will come good. He gave the ball away a couple of times, but went straight after it again and won it back. He doesn't hide. That is why he is head and shoulders above the other cowards in our midfield.

Why would I screenshot him getting tackled when I already wrote he got tackled?

The fact is 2 players vs 5 should not end up in a goal and I'm not blaming a player getting tackled in the opposition half for that.
