Yes, 100%, all the time, easiest answer.

Do you even watch us try to play? It's pass back or sideways for someone to hoof to the forward or Doucoure. What midfield are you talking about? There's not been a midfield triangle for us under Dyche as we play flat and go long unless it's a counter ffs
Yes I watch with despair like everyone else because of the mostly long ball game he has been playing in the last couple of months, but there have been games when we played better football including games v Spurs home and away and were unlucky to only get one point from those games. Since Christmas because of injuries his already meagre central midfield has been further reduced and the long ball has become more evident, even so there have been times with plenty of space in midfield that hasn’t been utilised. To get us near the top half of the table with points gained before they were stolen off us I think Dyche has done a remarkable job considering the threadbare squad he inherited, and not able to strengthen it in the transfer window.

Long ball as become evident even though we play the most long balls in the league by a clear 100

So none of this is down to instructions and Dyche setting up like this literally from day 1, it's down to Onana.

Who plays a decent short passing game for Belgium.

Ok mate.

No Dyche has had to play the way he has Everton playing because of squad he has got, he has gone more long ball recently, none of us are enjoying watching this present Everton team but it was doing enough earlier in the season, after a very poor start, to get us in a position most of us would have been satisfied with to escape having another season like the last two.
It’s down to Onana? You asked that I never said it. I keep saying he could do a lot more than he does, and I will keep saying that as long as he plays the way he does.

Okay mate.

It is literally Sean "4-4-2 long ball" Dyche, he always sets up the exact same way.

We have been top 1 for hoofball in all the stats all season lol

I don’t deny that, if you say it I believe it, adding that it helps us to become one of the best defensive teams in the league, we can all see that it is the midfield and attacking part of the team that is lacking. Has Dyche improved the points total since he came to Everton? They are nothing to boast about but would have saved us plenty of worry, fret and frustration that we have suffered in the last three years, if we hadn’t had those points taken off us.

There is no joy in coming to Goodison Park watching Everton, there hasn’t been for a long time, there will be none for the next few seasons more than likely, but if Dyche keeps us in the premier league a lot of us will be happy. It will be next to a miracle if he does after the way this club was run long before Dyche came in. He’s not the best manager in the league, far from it but he done much better than okay with the squad he has got.

How would you have us play with the squad we have got,try and play it out from the back? We’ve seen that Pickford to the full back, full back to the centre half, the centre half back to Pickford, then Pickford starts the same routine before it comes back to him again and he hoofs it upfield, we haven’t got the players to play good looking football, but we have enough quality in the squad to get by playing the way we do.

Did you watch Luton try and play attacking football v City last week and against other teams in the league and concede plenty of goals, they score more than us but the goals they concede will keep them below us, I believe.

Yeah so we just cut it out and let Pickford hoof it instead.

And yeah there's only two ways to play football, no one ever mixes it up ever, we can only have 1 - tippy tappy or HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOF.

I watched many teams try and successfully play planned and direct football without hoofing, I watched us do it 3-4 times this season. We can't do it consistently though as we have Dyche play for draws since he got 4 wins in a row.

You know what, in Richarlison's last season here certain posters were slagging him off and saying he was overated, I said that they would miss him when he was gone, because he was far better than other strikers we had at the time... Guess what we miss him, we really miss him. It's the same with this lad I think, he is the only bit of real quality in our midfield and will go on to have a very good career.

Yes he’s in a very limited squad so don’t you think he should stand out more if, as you think, he’s a very talented player, he’s pedestrian far too often and on Saturday in the first half he was very poor wherever he was positioned on the field. Let’s be honest here you think he is a good player who will become much better in the future, maybe, I can see his talent now and again, he needs to be using it a lot more now. Let’s see how he shapes on Saturday against a team, who according to paper talk are very interested in signing him. He should be breaking a gut to impress, I hope he does for his own sake and more importantly for Everton and us fans.

"He should be breaking a gut to impress"

Code: I want to see players run around alot.
