American Food

I went to Waffle House this week. I always forget it exists earlier than 1am, but it is an underrated American staple.

I had 3 eggs, scrambled with cheese and jalapeños. And a grilled chicken breast.

Feels a bit morbid eating a chicken with eggs, but it’s a delicious combo.

I've been in Chicago for the last week and been really enjoying the food here. I generally eat a lot but I had a grilled cheese sandwich with fries the other day and didn't need to eat again for about 6 hours. It must have been about 1500 calories but it was incredible. We also found really good Polish and Greek restaurants. The choice here is brilliant.

One thing I noticed though is groceries are very expensive. It's almost cheaper just to eat out all the time.

The people are so nice here too. It makes me wonder why the hell I'm still in London with all the miserable people who pretend it's great.

I love Chicago. And you’re right about the Polish and Greek food. Excellent options.

TBH, I haven't heard of 90% of these, but baked beans and Kraft cheese slices ? What States are these ?

The baked bean ones are actually candy see below and it's North Dakota.

The cheese slices is Wisconsin which is hilariously obvious to any American on here or those who know the states. Wisconsin is known as the cheese state you see.
