With some friends, hosted visitors to our city this past weekend and treated some not-so-Southern (and some Southern, but still hungry) folks to fried alligator, boiled shrimp, boiled crawfish, seafood gumbo, and similar good eats. Didn't get a chance to offer them boudin, but they got other good bites elsewhere. Makes me hungry just thinking of this again, I can't eat half that stuff.

Their tears.
this is a thread for Yank food in general, but if you have a specific food or chef in mind, call them out (but use your own thread)
I was wondering who'd been sucking my handkerchiefs.Any tear spilled by a yank tastes delicious. I would class that as American food.
Had this for the first time last week with some friends from Nebraska. I’d never heard of it before but it was tasty.
