Announced tonight during the Spain vs. USA telecast the CF Villarreal have agreed to terms with MLS for Jozy Altidore. He still has yet to come to personal terms.

I didn't catch what the transfer fee was but my guess is that it was probably in the region of 10M to 12M USD so around 5M to 6M GBP.

We'll find out more soon.

Well, Villareal, despite being a very small backwater, have a very rich owner, and can offer good wages. Riquelme, when he joined, had just failed at Barcelona. Pires was an Arsenal cast off and past his best (and yes he is class). And as for Forlan, well, do you not remember Forlan at Manure?
