You seem to have all the answers bud. Pointless me telling you, and your living in Spain superior knowledge, a damn thing.

No, please, I would love to know your logic behind saying that my opinion of a player I have watched closely the past few years is irrelevant.

If what you had said made sense, he would still be playing through balls into Messi and not Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

You live in Spain. How could I possibly compete.

You realise Spanish football is broadcast on every continent these days right? So living somewhere doesn't nessecarily mean your knowledge isn't any better than anyone else unless of course you hold a season ticket or have direct access to their training facility

In terms of football "local news" is not very local becuase of social media and peoples thirst for just about any news they can get their hands on.

Barca and Real Madrid have large followings outside of Spain

As for the players. Barca have gone through how many coaches now in 3 to 5 seasons. Its no different to Silva and brands having ideas on who they want in our team.

Remember Barca have the champions league to consider also when filling up their 24 or 25 man roster each season.

Mina is also non EU so they have only 3 places for non EU players and its been widely mentioned that he wasn't going to be registered this season because they signed someone else who would take his spot.

Then why are they selling this gem of a player to Everton?
Barcelona are one of the very top clubs in world football. They have a way of playing football and not every signing fits into that model as well as they may have expected. It doesn't mean they are bad players.

Clubs like Barcelona know that they will get their money back or even make a profit on players they buy and then sell on, so it is a very low risk strategy.

What I find surprising is that you would think that Barcelona would not know the player they were spending money on or they would knowingly spend a lot of money on a player they didn't rate.
Barca spent a fortune last year on a teenager and now it appears they were prepared to let him go as a makeweight in a deal for Pogba... that doesn't make him a bad player.

I wasn't stating my knowledge is superior, just that I am based close to one of the teams he previously played for which I watch at the Mestalla on a regular basis.

Playing CM for a few weeks might suit the Invisible Man.

Gets to do a load of running round and might finally be able to show that he can make us tick.

I'd be interested in seeing it. Or just seeing something from him.

I hope I`m proved wrong, but I could see him being overwhelmed as a centre mid.

Ok so you thought he was crap when he played with Valencia then?

He was decent, tidy in the centre of the park but no real engine or tenacity around the pitch. The season which he played in was actually a pretty poor one for Valencia. Even Rodrigo (one of the top forwards in Spain currently) was anonymous that same season.

Hmm, one season you say? Interesting, if you were a Valencia fan you would know he played two seasons. One on loan and the following season they purchased him from Benfica

The season which he played in prior to his move to Barcelona
