Plus can they actually do that? surely if a club do this to a player, I think that the club is breaking the contract with that player, and so nothing would stop the player to walk out for free with the money of his contract paid in full.

Wouldn’t surprise me that he’s only signed for Forrest to stop us from signing him. Teams down there know it weakens us through lack of bodies up top.
