Not all players are obsessed with just playing in the Champions League and all that. The feeling of belonging and having the faith of the fans is a big draw. Liverpool aint a bad place to live/commute to and we can pay well now.

He is enjoying himself here by the looks of it, no reason why he would not want to stay if the opportunity came up.

There isnt a rule that says we wont get CL.

Champions League is crap. CL = more money. They want more money.

If I was a pro (and I still may be one day if I decide to be) I would prefer to have Wednesdays off counting my money rather than traipsing over to Cluj or getting battered by Barcelona.

You can only hear the theme or see the starry balls so many times before it becomes a bit of a chore.

Of course it boils down to money, but we cant match the income most players get from CL football, after app fees and sponsors are factored in.

It doesnt mean we wont sign this fella, it will depend of course which teams show interest, if he continues to improve every week like he is doing, just wow.
