The pain of having Schneiderlin in midfield has already been washed away by this guy.

He is cool, so so cool. He doesn't panic in any situation, he is always thinking 2-3 passes ahead whether that's to get the ball back himself or someone else he's seen that could get it. He ghosts past players on the turn similar to how Barkley does it but unlike Roscoe he actually does something with the ball after he's done it.

Sexual.

He's like Arteta and Barry rolled into one. I think how we do decides whether he stays. We need to be amongst that big 6 by the end of the season to have any chance of keeping him. Going back to Barcelona seems unlikely but if he is standing out in an Everton side that are falling short someone else will take him. It's like Richarlison really the longer we are matching or progressing towards their ambitions the longer/more likely we are to keep them.

I think it will really depend how settled he feels at Everton first and foremost and then secondly does he think we can challenge at the top end.

Would be really easy for him come the end of the season and say "great season at Everton, mentally I feel great, confidence is back and I'm happy to go back to Barca or move to another top CL club" or he thinks "great season at Everton, mentally I feel great, enjoying it here and it feels right to be here and commit to something".

Either way, I've said it before and I'll say it again... If he's producing the goods for us and he's enjoying himself as much as we are enjoying having him here, then we are all winners even if it is just for a season.
Im not exactly sure he's a "I NEED to be playing CL" player. I think he had his big move and, at this point, he wants to just play in a team where he isn't marginalized.

It's a bit funny as he's mostly adored here and only has played about 6 matches for us. I think he would see us as a perfect destination.

The ball is stuck to his foot, I dread to see us play without this handsome devil in our MF, get him signed, this is the kind of player I have been wanting at Everton for so long.

I think that is where January will be interesting. Will we strengthen to try and squeeze a top 4/6 spot. Is that what he desires or is he happy to be enjoying his football in a key role, for a progressing team with big ambition.
