He's come in off hardly any pre season and missing the first dozen weeks of the prem and put 3 MOTM performances in.

Normally takes new comers a good few weeks to adapt to this league.

It shows us how talented he is.

The paper s will pick up on him sooner or later and will have him sold to city or united several times over before the end of this season.

Get with the times mate. Everything has to be either the best ever or worst ever. There is no inbetween. And 3 games is more than enough to base our judgement on, in fact a 2 minute youtube clip is all that is required nowadays.
If he plays bad next week, we will all quite rightly call for him to be sent back to Barcelona asap, and should sack Brands for bringing him over.

He's the sex. Lol at before him it was kin Tom Davies and Morgan Schneiderlin jostling for a starting berth.

It's like going from having flings with Kerry Katona and Blanche from Corrie, then leaving them to get with Emily Ratajkowski.
 

He is also unique in the fact you could probably partner him with any of the other centre midfielders and it would work. He has more than one string to his bow. I'm happy with Gueye being his partner but looking at all our midfielders I think either Baningime or Williams could be the best blend. Hopefully they will both continue in their development and in a couple of years one of them can take over from Gueye.

But I was certainly able to fully appreciate and rejoice with the 1980's sides, which were sublimely fantastic. Kanchelskis was superb, as was Peter Beardsley (sadly, that's it as far as world beating talent at Everton since 1987 goes).

We have been crying out for a midfielder of Gomes' talent for 30 odd years. He's THAT good. I'm excited as hell he is at Everton, It fills me with bloody joy just saying or hearing others mention his name, and I get tingles of anticipation when I'm about to watch him play.

Best footballer Everton have ever had? Tough call this early in his EFC career, coupled with our heroes of the past. BUT, If he stays permanently (and Everton should categorically go all out, no matter the cost, to pull that off) and he continues the way he is going, then yes he will go down as one of the greatest footballers ever to wear the EFC shirt. I for one, can not wait to see him grace the Bramley Moore turf,
