This is exactly part of the problem. We only have one route of moving the ball forwards and that’s Gomes, who is not the most agile of players and can be marked out of the game, especially when he’s in a poor run of form.

Atm Gomes or any of the players aren't important as I still see our squad as the best if the rest, I believe that would show if a decent manager came on board. I mentioned Jose the other week, but that would be a terrible appointment as he only takes on teams that need very little fixing. I see our only choice is Moyes, I'm not going to list them but after thinking he would be a good fit, also who else is there?.

Who's buying him based on a few games at the start of the season? That's the kind of thing we'd do. Throw ridiculous money at a player whose had a good month.

I think teams got wise to the fact he struggles with the press and physical nature of the game and he can't cope.

No preseason and then playing game after game. He's probably knackerd (yet the manager won't do him a favour and drop him). There's a player in there and if his team mates would actually move rather than stand right next to a defender he'd probably wouldn't try so many risky passes to make things happen.
