..fitness is the key issue, especially glass hamstrings but this fella looks particularly classy. The lad has had to endure a tough few seasons at Barcelona and I agree with others that he looks to have a real smile on his face. If he can get into a rhythm and stay fit I’m sure he’ll be a major addition to the team. He’s quality in both feet, he’ll keep both wingers in the game and he’ll provide a passing dimension that no other player in the squad is capable of.

No doubt, he’s quality. No doubt, fitness is a concern.
If you look at the above post and his injury record there’s nothing to suggest he has glass hamstrings or an injury record
Up until this injury he has missed more than one game twice in the last few seasons

..my concern is this injury, Bri. Once the scar tissue on the hamstring heals, they do have a tendency to pop throughout a career. It’s not always the case, but it’s why I suggested moving James McCarthy on after his started to go regularly. Hopefully this one has been managed and he’s fine.

Well we have 6 months to find out
If he can play at full pelt for those 6 months and have no recurrence than I’d say he will be ok
If not send him back
A lot of McCarthys hamstring issues was due to him being rushed back before he was ready
O Neill was to blame for this on a couple of occasions
I’m no medical man but hopefully a side effect of the leg break will be that his hamstrings will have had a long spell to recover

..absolutely. I’m really looking forward to watching this fella.

Really, really excited to see him come in.

I think it'll take time and he'll have to be eased in gradually like Bernard, but he's capable of being the link player we desperately need between the defence and that front four.
