Less than a minute later Gomes's ankle was snapped, after Son sprinted 30odd yards and lunged in from behind. Nobody can convince me of anything other than Son's 100% guilt in what happened, not even Gomes coming out and saying that he doesn't think Son was at fault.

We've seen our players do the same though and applauded it as it showed apparent desire. There is no denying that football is fickle and full of hypocrisy. How many people lauded Mirallas' tackle on Suarez? In fact, a better question to ask would be, who wanted Mirallas to actually snap him? Answer honestly please.

I absolutely despised Suarez but wouldn't have wanted to see him hurt with his leg hanging off, I hate most of the current Liverpool team but still don't want to see them badly injured.

Whether Son deserved a red or not is not the issue it's whether a guy will ever recover and the year he will be out for. That's what matters. Son can get to hell whether the challenge itself deserved a red doesn't matter matter he got a red and its the least he deserved for triggering the accident. Gomes is the victim. I wish him all the best fantastic guy and very good player. We are going to miss him big style.

I Honestly believe if the son card is not rescinded the game has totally gone. To give a guy a card based on how bad an injury is and say endangering anopponent is a total andutter disgrace.The days Iplayed you would not have any players left on the pitch including the keepers!

It is clear for anyone who saw that incident that Son was merely attempting to trip Gomes and certainly didn’t intend to injury

That's a bit unreal. His actions caused a SIGNIFICANT injury of a fellow player. Regardless of whether he was the one who did the actual injuring, his foul was what caused it to happen.
