Too many bad games to be any more than OK across a full season. Very good on his day (how many players do we say that about!?) but consistency has been an issue his entire career, it seems to be part of his make up that he just has these occasional mares.
Convenient to blame Snides but Gomes had these games alongside Gueye too.

When you have an utterly defensively abysmal centre mid with next to no mobility/pace he needs to be Jan Molby/Socrates class.
He aint fit to lace their boots and they drank alcohol/smoked weed and had orgies most nights.
I doubt our Portuguese genuis would be capable of nailing a bird for more than 2 minutes before making his excuses.

That type of display is what everyone saw in the middle of last season and created questions of if we should even bother signing him. That was a REALLY poor performance from the guy. He doesn't have a lot of excuses at this point for them this year, he's been in England for over a year at this point, the game shouldn't be surprising him.
