Nope. Loads of times he was in acres of space and just looked to give it to someone 5 yards away even though no opposition players were anywhere near him.
I get that he’s a defensive midfielder but he has to be able to offer something on the ball.

This is what really frustrates me, you never see him giving it all, always a dry shirt on with no sweat or dirt on his shorts.

Good player but yesterday he had a mare. So dis our other talented players, none of them could trap a ball or make a simple pass. It was like watching a group of Lukakus. Gomes is better than yesterday, he'll come good again.

Become an easy target when we have a poor result. Has brought. A lot of that on himself, but he wasn’t the reason we lost at Villa. If he looks at his performance and those around him, he can rightfully point a few fingers at those around him.
For me, his past antics are more than enough to say we as a fanbase aren’t having him, that’s fair enough....he won’t leave here as any legend, that’s for sure. Since coming back from the break after the Millwall debacle he has done as much as other celebrated players in our improved defensive cohesion....my point is he wasn’t the worst - by far - in that spineless display on Friday.

Love Andre but that was the worst individual performance I've seen in quite some time. It obviously doesn't work with two paceless players in front and behind him

He appeared to do a job on himself. Passing to the opposition, putting the ball out of play, opting not to shoot when he had the chance. That was a really poor performance, especially for someone with his talent
