Maybe the Dyche version of Gomes is the version we’ve all been waiting to see? His silky smooth passing might be the key to a counter attack offensive today.

Highlight all the weakness to honest. Tracking men, disciplined out of possession, holding shape.its the game we need to see him perform inWe'll have about 20% possession tomorrow so it's not the best game to judge him on in fairness.

He reminded us what a proper footballer he is when he's on it that day. Happy for him and hopefully he can find a role in this side when called upon.
If Dyche can get better consistently from him, would Gomes take a substantial pay cut to stay with us for another year?Gomes problem was always a game like Spurs (where he was top class) but then 3-4 poor games.
If he can perform like he did vs Spurs consistently I’d be offering him a 1 year extension.
Big if though. However under Dyche maybe he can though. Let see…
We play City twice a year. It the results against the bottom 14 in the league that decide our season.Highlight all the weakness to honest. Tracking men, disciplined out of possession, holding shape.its the game we need to see him perform in
I’m a big fan of Gomes…. I think I am agree with you. Can unlock doors… but if we are looking to shut up shop he is probably weaknessWe play City twice a year. It the results against the bottom 14 in the league that decide our season.
Yeah, when he’s on it that day. He’s just wildly too inconsistentProper footballer?
He hardly tore the French league a new hole did he?
He’s ok technically but physically he’s not anywhere near the required standard and his lack of pace is a massive problem
He did do well at Lille. They just couldn't afford to sign him because he is on silly money here.Proper footballer?

Thing is as a free agent, £112k per week or £5.8m per year isn’t that bad in all honestly for a midfielder with his ability. As ever, it comes back to consistency, and if he can perform nearly as well as he did the other day more often than not and actually get in the team £5.8m would look like value given our current financial status. Of course the flip side is if he reverts to previous and disappears for months it’s £5.8m down the toilet.
Was pretty consistent in France and earned some good reviews. Seems to be a major confidence player and Dyche seem to be able to recognise what makes players tick so who knows.
Not physically strong enough??? VAR reckoned he tore that defenders bumcheeks off and wrapped them around his neck, before getting him in a half Nelson and killing him horribly in the lead up to DCL's goal lolProper footballer?
