I'm fairly obvious he does want to go back to London because things didn't work out for him personally in liverpool. He's the one who pulled himself out of the Preston game.Is fairly obvious he doesnt wanna leave a club with champions league aspirations who are in the UEFA cup, play in front of 40,000 and have talks of really top players coming in for 18,000 if your lucky relegation fodder who have Simon Davies as one of there top players.

Hes going because Fulham offered the money and Everton accepted it, no other reason.
HAHAHA everytime I see that rhyme about Lescott with that pic of Arshavin I almost piss myself!!!!
Jolly good show sir!!!
I'll miss him. He always gave it his all and in the end provided a 5M return on our investment. Plus even though he wanted to live in London he didn't go blubbering to the press about being a slave or whatever. Maybe AJ wanted to leave after the realization that as long as he put on the blue shirt he'd never get a penalty call.
I just saw a feature on AJ's A-Star charity on Premier League World. The guy is a class act.
I hope we get a no.2 striker targeted though. Ironically McFadden, who left becasue he couldn't get a match, might have been the starter when Moyes plays a 4-4-2 this year.
