Is fairly obvious he doesnt wanna leave a club with champions league aspirations who are in the UEFA cup, play in front of 40,000 and have talks of really top players coming in for 18,000 if your lucky relegation fodder who have Simon Davies as one of there top players.

Hes going because Fulham offered the money and Everton accepted it, no other reason.

HAHAHA everytime I see that rhyme about Lescott with that pic of Arshavin I almost piss myself!!!! :D :D :D
Jolly good show sir!!!

How could they not? EVERYONE- just imagine Arshavin saying that and then pulling that face!!! How could it not make you crease? :P:P:D:D

!
I'm fairly obvious he does want to go back to London because things didn't work out for him personally in liverpool. He's the one who pulled himself out of the Preston game.

I think Fulham will unveil him today or tomorrow.

It's for the best of both parties.

AJ was no longer first choice, and if Vaughan gets fit he'd of been in a fight for second choice in my opinion. At Fulham he'll be starting the vast majority of games, plus it's in London.

And we're boosting our transfer pot significantly to put towards midfield.

AJ has been one of my favourite players over the past couple of years, I know he's had his faults, but he's always had 'heart' which I loved.

Good luck to Fulham, I hope he scores against the RS with them too.

Everton boss David Moyes says Andrew Johnson wanted to leave the Club.
The striker is in talks with Fulham over a possible move after the Toffees accepted an eight-figure bid on Monday.
“Why did I sell AJ? It was AJ’s choice,” said Moyes. “He decided that he wanted to move on.”

I'll miss him. He always gave it his all and in the end provided a 5M return on our investment. Plus even though he wanted to live in London he didn't go blubbering to the press about being a slave or whatever. Maybe AJ wanted to leave after the realization that as long as he put on the blue shirt he'd never get a penalty call.

I just saw a feature on AJ's A-Star charity on Premier League World. The guy is a class act.

I hope we get a no.2 striker targeted though. Ironically McFadden, who left becasue he couldn't get a match, might have been the starter when Moyes plays a 4-4-2 this year.

Not a chance rook, he was [Poor language removed]. Plenty of players would have been before him.

He's a scumbag. He wanted to leave Everton. A week after saying he would sign for the rest of his career.
