We were meant to have a press conference today - nothing. Then we are seriously linked with another striker.

So unless they are waiting to sign that striker and announce AJ and the striker together...

Something does not add up with this AJ deal to the Cottage. Like i said, this deal was supposed to have been concluded on monday. I am not entirely convinced it has anything to do an ankle problem. I am more clinging on to the hope that Moyes is close to completing his first signing of a so far frustrating summer for the toffee's, before the AJ deal will go through. Fulhamfan, what are your feelings on the signing of Johnson??

Doesn't really bother. he gives his all every game,there is not more you can ask for. i know he isn't the best finisher but just so long as he works hard and gets double figures I'll be happy.

And therein lies the difference between a team fighting for mid-table mediocrity and a team fighting for europe.

This was us 2/3 years ago. We are now by this stage.

This is in no way an insult to Fulham, i actually quite like Fulham, but the difference is now for all to see.

Yeah, but you can get two or three players for the same fee. Especially when you look at the fact that we got Lescott, Arteta, Cahill and Pienaar, for less.
