It's still off IMO. That story was leaked direct to the Echo by the club for release at that specific time for a reason. Our next home game is after the window closes; they made sure everyone was in the ground so the news was suppressed.

Think it is nothing more than grasping at straws to think it's on now.

could be right mate, but think their is something going on behind the scenes on this one still, the womble we got linked with makes me believe that more so
 
I think as @davek said, we are playing bargaining games/forcing their chairman's hand.

Not giving up on this one till we either sign someone else or the window shuts or Martinez says its off.
