sad that. It's a well ran club, but some of the fans are moronic.

Stoke fans are clearly being helmets. Some of them, at least.

We signed Lukaku last year, we didn't suddenly think we were one of Europe's top clubs. Shaqiri is an eye opening signing but then so was Bojan. Yes they are on the up but being realistic, if they think they're a bigger draw than us then they're beyond deluded.

They have very little pedigree in Prem history, have only recently moved away from throwback football, still have a team of 80% grocks and even after reaching new heights last year, remain a mid table club. Plus Stoke is quite possibly the most miserable place in the country, and much like London draws players in, their grey dystopia will push players away.

Even Shaqiri rejected them at first. He just realised no other clubs were prepared to splash all that dosh on him, given the questions marks over his domestic career.
 
Who cares what Stoke fans have to say? They will play against Port Vale in a few years time. That's their level.
