Dyche will love a fit Townsend back in the squad, his footballing mentality is exactly what dyche looks for around his teams.
If he can get back and fit, then he'll be out there playing like he hasn't been away.
As for him and Gomes. Totally different mindsets...

The lad might not have much longer left in the game but he'll definitely want to make the time he has got count.

He'll have gotten even worse after this injury, but there is still potential for him to be more of a threat than McNeill providing he can still break into a moderate jog.

Bolasie cost £24million quid and got an ACL injury and thats was all there was to it. Now playing in Turkiye ripping it up large, or not.
Townsend on a free got an ACL injury and now we have so few options and threat and goals and ability on goal it may cost us our top league place.

Our top league place is worth a lot more than Bolasie's £24million sterling. Subtle and slightly nuanced point, but it was there...
