Good pro. Far from crap. Good influence to have at FF and in dressing room. Came to all our friendlies when he didn't have to when most younger pros if injured would've stayed away. I actually think he could make a good coach, and this is a reasonable shout

This is the madness part. You’d like to give a lad a job for life on our coaching staff, due to the fact he turned up at relegation games when he was injured, without knowing if he is capable of actually doing the role.

He does seem a good pro and a sound lad, but he is crap.

Coaching role? Based on what? This is exactly the sort of mentality we should be trying to edge away from.

Agreed.
People like Townsend and Coleman are assets for any club.

They have played at the highest level and bring good attitude and good habits that young academy players can learn and benefit from.
