This guy might be on £50 a week but it’s still £50 a week we did not need to spend. How many teams have two ancient back up keepers?

I am not saying it is a good signing but I am saying that there is a good time and not good time and we have respect the coaches for knowing when to play the kids .An aging keeper who has barely played over the last few years is probably a greater risk than giving one of the young keepers a go. I think we should have waited and if anything happened to the other 2 I'm sure there is a rule where you can sign a keeper anyways. Waste of a wage and a space in the 25 man squad.

Very underwhelming? The three that we signed were underwhelming, what is the word for underwhelming when underwhelming isn’t underwhelming enough.
Please find some relevant examples of this happening and I’ll take your post seriously.
He'll sign and neither Pickford or Begovic will get injured
For 47 minutes and he didn't concede a goal.
Probably.
It's possible though. We had to start our 3rd choice keeper in a big match last season.
Fail to prepare, prepare to fail.
If both our first choice keepers pick up an injury there is a rule in place where you can sign a keeper as an emergency. I would rather do that than have a very poor 3rd choice hanging about all season.
