Yakubu and Van der Meyde are both still here. Moyes did say Victor had a future at the club on Talksport. Make of it what you will.

Playing regularly would improve him, he probably thought he'd get better chances there with King moving to Boro. He's obviously went about it the wrong way though and has been punished.

Not Good Enough


Whilst I agree that this is a great pity the bottom line is Anichebe is a average championship player who show's extreme naivety at this level. If Hull City or any other relegation strugglers offered £5m for him - we should snap their hands off. He has not realised his potential (yet his ego may disagree).

maybe the realisation of how lucky he is has dropped.
 

I always kinda liked him. stupid at times, but hes young and skilled. i think if he stays fit and out of trouble he'll be a big part of the team in this final push.
 
The guy was doing well before his injury.
He is young, and to say he is only Championship material is a bit unfair on the lad.
When he scored those goals in Europa, he looked a world beater. His last goal was as good a any Saha has scored this year, so he has the potential. The only way to develop it is to keep playing him.
 
I can't understand these lads? they are doing well with a class club get a goal or two and think they are gods,
perfect example franny Jeffers, where is he now Sheff wed or the likes,
been though more clubs than tiger woods,
he could have been a merseyside hero, a great alongside young, dean, big dunc, but his head was bigger than his talent.
get real victor lad bide your time and be a hero.
