Thought he did well. Matched that United loanee for pace and then drew the foul. Seems to have a good football head on him.

There's potential but it's very raw. Hopefully if he gets a bit of seasoning he can be a decent player for us

You sense correctly. So do the fan base, usually, most of them end up not being good enough.

In 6months he’ll be the same age Richarlison was when he joined us. For perspective.

People talking about lightweight forget McMannaman across the park looked like he would fall over in a breeze but was effective with the ball running into space. I see some of that style of player in Gordon. Hopefully he can continue to develop

We are a mid table side. We are unlikely to be developing many Brazil standard players. We do, However, need players that offer more than Delph, or Gbamin or Tosun, or Besic, or Bolasie, or Niasse, or Schneiderlin etc, all of who whome cost a fortune and offered nothing.

Gordon could easily surpass all of those and be a competent player. If we don’t give him a run, we will never know. Also, players develop at different rates.
