No more corners or free kicks tho. But love watching this kid develop. His hunger is a blessing right now
He goes for the low percentage set pieces which have to be perfect. Andy Hinchcliffe (who could take a corner) suggested taking a bit of pace off the ball.

With someone like Mina in the team, just getting it in the mixer is likely to cause problems. Far better than just kicking it out of play.

Love watching this lad play. Hopefully we can keep him for a while yet. He looks like he can go up a few levels, and has that ability to affect a game.

Yep just like you said you'd rather have DCL than Kane.
There's nothing like over rating our own players.

Let's have it right. Gordon is talented. Nice touch, good control , great pace and good attitude.
But he doesn't get his head up for a final ball and his finishing is woeful.
Can he improve ? Of course he can but to suggest that he's another Kingsly Coman or Serge Gnabry is delusional .
I actually think the Gnabry comparison is a fair one - when Gnabry was 20 he was out on loan at West Brom being told he wasn’t good enough by Tony Pulis.
His free kicks yesterday were horrible but he keeps going. One thing that I’ve been impressed with is that he seems to have learned to vary his pace when attacking players, slowing down a bit to stand the defender up and then gas them. He’s already earning praise (begrudgingly) from the main stream media and it won’t be long until they are selling Gordon for us. If you were Man Utd would you rather have Anthony Gordon or 75mil Jason Sancho?

We’ve seen earlier in the season, particularly his free kick for Branthwaite’s goal against Chelsea , that he can deliver but frustratingly he’s so inconsistent with free kicks and corners. Those right side corners which go out of play and back in are an example. But we know he can strike the ball well , maybe it’s extra practice he needs and at 21 he’s got time to improve.

Not on the evidence so far.
He's got a lot of improving and catching up to do.
Fingers crossed though because in the perilous financial position that we are in we are going to need to sell a few players for big money.

Hes one of the best players, of his age and younger in Europe. He needs to keep improving, but what a player we have on our hands.
