Played well last night and when he is quicker than his full back - like he was last night against Azpilicueta - he goes round them fun. He has always looked good against that type of player like in some of the cup teams last season against lower league teams.

You could see his face brighten when he heard the fans singing his name, so nice to see. Regardless of what happens with the other youngsters from last night, I think we can chalk him off as having taken the step up into the first team permanently now.

that was really weird. He told the world that he'd been in to see him about why he wasn't playing and then didn't pick him for a year.

One of my very critical towards us Kopite colleague and a few others rate Gordon very highly. Perhaps we're too critical of our youngsters.
I agree with you, but some the hype after last night is only setting the lad up to fail. Someone compared him to Steve McManaman in the Match Thread last night.
