Mustn’t be played today if we are selling him, just our luck that he will do a hammy or something :/ If we have decided to sell him, wrap him in bubble wrap and stick him in cold storage until we have the cheque in our hands
Yeah, we all know the most Everton thing that can happen will happen so if we’re close to agreeing a deal bench at most.

Chelseas owner must be big on wanting to sign british players what with him now being interested in Harry Maguire. Poor Chelsea fans lol

Expecting a £50m performance from him today. That would equate to a match-winning performance with a goal or two from the youngster.

Well it doesn't.

MGW has gone for similar money and has scored 1 goal in 47 PL matches. That's the level.

If he can perform as he has done this season, then he's doing more than enough. Just needs a bit of luck and support.

It's kind of irrelevant what Gordon wants to me. I dont get people getting wound up over him. I dont care. I'll be glad if he goes as we will have a lot of money.
He's a professional athlete who will remain professional. People get far too convinced that players actively dislike their job if they are open to a move away etc, when it's not the case at all.

He gets to go and train with his mates 5 days a week.

If he gets sold, he'll go and train with some new mates for 5 days a week.

I half agree but we definitely need more from him than he's shown in the last two matches. Nothing to do with the valuation, we just need him and the rest of them to step up and perform.

This already feels like a huge, huge game.

It affects people differently. Some players won't be fazed at all, some it can effect a lot. Like Lescott had one of the poorest games I've ever seen when he wanted to leave lol

Yep very true, but Lescott actively demanded the move didn't he, and turned in one of the worst displays as a parting gift.

There's no suggestion Gordon has actively demanded a move, just that he's open to it. As I've said before, you can be open to wanting to try something new while also being perfectly happy where you are, in any walk of life.

And also a 21 year old kid.

He's our player and likes it at Everton. He's also open to moving to Chelsea if a deal is agreed between the sides.

That's all there is to it and our fans need to get that into their heads, no need for any vitriol if he goes or unreasonable expectations if he stays.

It's not an unreasonable expectation for him to be better than he has been in the first two games, obviously, but it's also reasonable to expect Lampard to play him correctly and not up front.
