Aye, but - and again I'm not saying I know for sure - last week when I was saying that to Iguana (who for some reason I can no longer tag) that the reports were only really that Chelsea were *willing* to go to £60m (other than Fab Romano going out on a bit of a limb it seemed), it felt like Chelsea, or maybe even Everton, saying this is what it's going to take to get it done. I dunno, would depend where Ornstein etc got their info from.

It was only Romano, of the ultra reliable ones, who said that a bid of that amount had been made.

That deal looks like its worth £90mil to me and if Broja and Gallagher reach their potential the £90mil today may become £150mil on our books in a year or two.

One caveat i have is that if he and Onana hit the top level then potentially they could win games for us on our own.
