I'm a huge fan of Gallagher, but nope he isn't and Gordon has a way higher ceiling too. He's also very specific in where he has to play otherwise he's a liability - Gordon's shown he has more versatility already.
That seems to upset a largely London based media, that a player from Everton may be better than a London lad, but that's clearly how its viewed. It makes them seeth with anger as well.
You really think anyone in the media gives a toss about whether Gallagher is a better player than Gordon ? Like It’s some big hot topic of debate in football circles lol
You‘re getting angry over something that doesn’t happen.
I'm not getting angry mate, I'm just observing their anger.
That's either very strong or very naive management from Frank.Frank has apparently warned him about downing tools to force a move through.
Fair enough misread your post. Petty sure no one in media is arsed about whether Gallagher is better than Gordon or vice versa though.
I don't think he will leave this window but next summer if he has a good season 22/23 could be interesting.Seems Tony has definitely made it clear to Frank that he'd like to join Chelsea, hence Lampard's warning about downing tools.
Falling perfectly for Bill this, right at the end of the window, mega money bid on the table ready to be accepted at any time, but he'll wait to accept it only at the point where it's far too late to actually reinvest the money, and will point to Lampard's comments as reason for letting Gordon go: "We didn't want to keep an unhappy player at the club".
It depends on what question was asked by the journalist, who might be baiting for some explosive revelation. You’re reading too much into it.Seems Tony has definitely made it clear to Frank that he'd like to join Chelsea, hence Lampard's warning about downing tools.
