Hes probably somewhere between. I'd definitely take 9 goals though, if that was offered somewhere!

He has got to be more productive in the games he's not scoring in, creating chances or causing havoc getting us up the pitch and putting teams on the back foot.

He's not or shouldn't be in the team for his work rate, its a bonus if you have a winger who works his bollox off but they are there to create in the final 3rd of the pitch.

Sounds like he's been given a good dressing down by Frank over his five yellow cards so far, and very rightly so. Absolute disgrace for a winger to get five in nine games. I'd suggest most wingers don't even get too many more than five yellow cards across an entire season.

Last season Demarai Gray picked up three yellows. And if we're looking at similar like-for-like (fast, direct) players, Harvey Barnes picked up two yellows, Wilf Zaha got four and Jarrod Bowen got six. Not going to pick Sky six players as we all know they get massively favoured decisions by the officials.

Five in nine games? Disgusting. Should have taken Chelsea's £30m offer or whatever was on the table.

The thing is he makes a lot more tackles than those players, so he will get booked more.

The yellow at the weekend was a joke. He shouldnt take that out of him game.

30m was far too low an offer, when sh1te like Gibbs White were going for 45m. We rightly held firm and didnt allow ourselves to be low balled.

Whatever Gibbs White goes for, knock on a premium on top for Gordon, as hes far better.

His work rate is important, but needs to add a bit to his overall game.

That being said, 9 goals + that work rate would be an exceptional season.

He looks absolutely goosed sometimes and it could be affecting his decision making in the final third because he has nothing left in the tank.

Im not complaining as such but he needs to find the right balance and reserve some energy for when we are attacking rather than consume it all chasing players off the ball, we have 3 mobile midfielders for that.

Yes agree. Balance is key, and so is improving his fitness.

The need to improve his fitness is a worry. He is 20 years of age, he plays football for a top level EPL team who have state of the art facilities and trainers, his fitness should really not be an issue at this stage. I am hoping that it is just the fact that not yet learned how to preserve and best use his stamina during a match, rather than the fact that he is lacking in his fitness levels. Some people just don't have the same potential to build fitness and stamina that others do.
