Yes. We should have look to have brokered a deal, but often emotion gets in the way. You hope the people running the club are able to think in a far more clinical way though.
Not for me mate, still quality.
Fully back him. NEA

Last year I thought there was a lot to like albeit he looked fairly limited. This year in the main he’s been absolutely dire, he currently looks every an inch a player who would struggle on loan at Preston. The bookings thing is becoming a serious issue too, at this rate he’s on course to be missing 3 games through suspension by the halfway point of the season, somebody needs to get a grip of that before it gets out of hand.

They’re not “routinely given”. The only example you could give me was a game against Brighton from 3 years ago and vaguely allude to Salah and Mane winning soft pens without giving any actual examples.
I wanted Mills to get a go ages ago. We never just try things but I guess that's a consequence of how pressurised staying in this league is.
The thing with Mills though, is it is a huge step up. I'm doubtful he will make the step up, but we live in hope.
I think his overall performances last year were blown out of proportion, and said so at the time. He started and ended the season looking very average, but there was a spell of half a dozen or so games around the turn of the year where he showed some real promise and made me think I’d misjudged him. I’m now going back to thinking he just looks very average. I hope he can push on to those levels again and properly prove me wrong, we really need him to.One thought hit me, and worried me a bit, but fo we remember the performance away at Chelsea. Where he was excellent. I'm sure a few detractors will say otherwise, but I'd imagine most can agree it was a terrific performance. It's nearly a year ago, and I'm not sure he has kicked on as much we might have hoped.
It may have been a lucky performance. Young players do get them.
If I was to put my finger on it, it looks to me like a lot of the speculation has gone to his head.
He's more talented and effective for the U21's than Gordon was for them and you rate him out the backside.
He probably has shown that, but Gordon never really excelled for the 21s. I always felt Unsworth didnt quite fancy him.
Any judgement on Gordon is based on what he has done in the 1st team.
Look we will never know, but I'm not that convinced on Mills. As always though, I genuinely hope to be proven wrong.
I back him too, but I'm quite cut throat and would have sold, as I said at the time.

This is promising though if you've said it.
Whatever you think of Gordon, I really don’t think you can say he’s creative (in the sense that we’d miss his creativity at least). He has a total of 3 assists for us, and none in his last 26 games. We just can’t continue to sell our most creative players mate, the end result is tonight, we‘ve flogged anyone with creative intent. Take home for me tonight, is selling Richarlison was a clanger, perhaps who targeted to replace him could be clanger 2.
Anthony hasn’t been effective, but he’s quality, if you asked me my analysis, I think the team presently is massively poor in supporting each other and particularly attacking players in creating options or a return, movement is awful, Gray and Gordon are isolated and asked to do impossible. The whole front unit, is poorly coached and the midfield support aimless. There’s no pattern or plan to it. I’m really surprised.
We play a possession based games based on creating through the lines, yet think about all our goals this year, they have come from direct ball - the plan and how Frank wants us to play doesn’t work, or rather doesn’t work with these players or squad. We won’t score continuing it.
