Genuine ‘Rolls-Royce’ player….

He's really made himself look like a petulant prat for the world to see. Not going to be a popular lad is he. I may be wrong but I think he has got too big for his boots.

We are in crisis and wants to jump ship and does it publicly. He needs better advice, a lot in the media not impressed with him.

His energy and skill was integral to our survival last season.
We have no one left who can supply that now.
Our very , very slim survival hopes just became slimmer.
Actually we won’t survive anyway so who cares.
He was, but also that's last season.

This season he's the pRoPeR #10 and the best thing he did is probably break the record for fastest way to get 5 yellows in a season, be utter crap and have 0% of that energy from last year.

I think we should close our academy down to be honest, no player who emerges from it is going to progress at this club.
If I was one of Mills, Dobbin , or Cannon I would be plotting my exit from a club whose support has grown increasingly unwilling to give its homegrown talent any perseverance.

We have never been a club where attacking players develop or thrive. We are a club that has always focused more on buying defensive minded players over attacking ones.

How come a player like Mason Holgate and Michael Keane get to stay for the length they did but players like Barkley, Mirallas, Bernard, James, Gordon either stalled or were hounded out of the club for not bleeding blue? We are DESPERATE for a local hero who eats, sleeps and breathes Everton without offering him the environment they need to succeed.

Apart from Lukaku and Richarlison who even for a 20/21 year old had enough experience, every single attack minded midfielder or forward regresses at Everton for one reason or another.

Our list of attack minded players (bought or academy produced) over last 10 years:

1. Mirallas
2. Deulofeu
3. Walcott
4. Lukaku
5. Bolasie
6. Klassen
7. Sigurdsson
8. Barkley
9. Gordon
10. Rooney
11. Tosun
12. King
13. Kean
14. Townsend
15. Gray
16. James
17. Bernard
18. Vlasic
19. Onyekuru
20. Richarlison
21. DCL

Some of them have failed after leaving Everton as well which goes to show our eye for talent. Some we failed to nurture due to constant change of managers.
