Anthony Gordon

It feels to me that he's just over egging with Newcastle, over compensating a little that Everton fans are getting to him. Similar to how Rooney reacted at Goodison with United. Difference with Rooney though, was that there was genuine venom thrown at him because blues were actually devastated him leaving. Gordon it's just kind of like Meh.

They will turn on him soon anyway, he's rubbish and cost them a fortune. Talk about us being impatient, them Geordies are a different breed altogether.

Speaking of Shrek:

Wayne Rooney on breaking into the Everton Team “I grew up watching them, to then go play with them, trained with them every day, and then so quickly I remember thinking, these are crap.”

Another one that said though, in that Athletic article I believe, that he wasn't fit enough for Newcastle, didn't Barkley say much the same when he went to Chelsea ? Which leads to the question are our training regimes outdated, or is it the culture at Everton/ Finch Farm that's wrong, too soft..

Eddie surely regrets signing him.

Both St Maximan and Jacob Murphy are substantially better than him, while Isak plays wide forward to which is a favourite position of Tony Gordon's.

Also not the mention the childish spitting out of his dummy after being subbed early on in his Newcastle career and refusing to acknowledge his manager.

£45m for a squad player - although this may ultimately be how Newcastle's bench is made up of in the near future just like City have £50m players all over the place and sometimes not even in the squad at all.

I think he'll be offloaded the end of next season.
