Not sure about that first bit. He put a shift in for us, under Lampard I thought. Once his head was turned though, well that was that. I'd much prefer McNeil and Harrison tbh.
Never put a shift in that I saw, that was why he was called out, nothing against the lad, just wasn't adding to the team and we're better without him.
He was incapable of playing more than 60 minutes.
Howe alluded to his fitness levels when they signed him. I'm not sure if that was an indictment of Lampard's methods or just covering up Newcastle's juicing program
