Some already have because they might not get Europe and because they have had some awful spells this season (with a huge injury list).

But I bet if you ask their owners what their plan was, Europe won’t have been planned until year 4/5 considering where they were. So Howe is very safe.

Year 1 - get safe.
2 - top 14 and safe comfortably
3- push for top 10
4 - potential challenge for top 7
5 - definite push for Europe

Other than Isak, Barnes and probably Gordon, they don’t really have any ‘ballers’ and are just a bunch or workhorses. And last seasons running themselves into the ground for 4th, has led to them all breaking down this season.

It’s essentially a worse version of what Liverpool try to do, but liverpools cycle lasts 3/4 years before they break down.

But it’s a much better situation than we are in and Gordon will be happy staying there I’m sure.

If they get Tonali on the pitch and Guimaraes stays....with Joelinton in there two thats a really good midfield.

as in all capable of doing something spectacular and generally create/score very regularly.

Tonali, who knows yet, had a decent spell in Italy but looked well below par in lots of his performances over here.

Joelinton runs a lot and throws elbows in as he is a snide. He isn’t particularly great on the ball.

Bruno is good, but games can bypass him and while he covers a lot of ground, he is again a snide that seems to get away with it. And he loves a suicide pass.
