Yeah Neville could play at either full back role and in centre mid, at least up until a couple of seasons ago he could. With losing Hitz too I'm pretty sure Martinez will bring in a CM, especially if Fellaini leaves.

This lad is technically an excellent footballer, and knows how to play creative football out of defence. If he gets an injury free season, he'll play more than some people think.
 
Welcome to Everton. This will prove to be one of Martinez's most successful signings, you might not think it but he was free and he will prove a lot of people wrong.

On a separate note, no more Wigan players please otherwise opposition fans will have a familiar chant for us

Could Lundstram not take the Hitz role? Maybe him better going out on loan for a year.

Maybe. He was on loan at Doncaster in League 1 last season if I recall correctly, and did very well. They also got promoted. Maybe the PL is too soon for him. A loan to a Championship club could suit him.

More convinced than ever that our one big signing will be a central midfielder and something to get us all excited about. He's filled in some much needed squad depth for between £5-7 million. At any other club there'd be a fortune left over - not for us I don't think, but it will still be in excess of £10 million
