I'd be amazed if RM broke up the jags/Distin partnership anytime soon just coz alcaraz is suddenly fit. I'd also be quite annoyed even tho I do think alcaraz is a very good CB. The lack of pace would be very worrying.

Think we'll see more 3 at the back formations with alcaraz slotting in alongside jags and Distin.

He's a good backup, it means that with Duffy recallable, Stones on the Bench too, that we can ship off Heitinga for £2m or what not in Jan (If that), and still have options, either way, am i not right in thinking that he barely played last season for Wigan last season anyway?
